Did you know that fossil fuel-derived nitrogen fertiliser is having a detrimental effect on our air quality - but the government don’t want to act!

Emissions from fossil fuel-based nitrogen fertilisers used in intensive farming are contributing to the climate emergency.

🏭 Cutting agricultural emissions in half could prevent 52,000 deaths annually in Europe alone - that’s 19% of all deaths attributed to air pollution.
🌱 If Europe switched to organic and agroecological farming, alongside key dietary changes, we could see a 40% drop in emissions.

In this weeks boxes you can find the following (dependent on box size)

French beans
Padron peppers
Hot wax chilli
Baking potatoes
Cabbage
Onion
Lettuce head

All grown by us and picked fresh. Can’t get much more local than that! Spaces available for coming Thursday boxes by ordering from our website before 6pm Monday 🕊️
