Warehouse FLT driver opportunity!
Permanent role joining an established business.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Job Description:
Hours 6am until 2:30pm Monday to Friday with half an hour unpaid lunch break.
An opportunity is available for a Warehouse FLT driver and Order Picker to join the FoodlineUK TEAM at our Lancashire Hill, Stockport SK4 1UB Warehouse Distribution Centre.
You will be required to quickly develop a broad understanding of all products, therefore good literacy skills using the English language is essential.
Reporting to the Managing Director in an established family owned business, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following, working on their own and in a TEAM:
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Picking customer orders in a timely and accurate manner for same day delivery.
Responsibility to ensure every customer gets exactly what they ordered.
Products must be packed neatly so that products present well on delivery.
Careful handling is required. Quality and image is important.
Working in a warehouse and cold store.
Safe manual handling of products on and off warehouse racking.
Safe manual handling of products on and off delivery vehicles.
Loading vans.
You will play a major role in giving our customers confidence in the products they receive.
This role is working a day shift through the training management programme from 6am until 2:30pm Monday to Friday with half an hour unpaid lunch break.
The rate of pay is £14 an hour.
Essential Skills
Punctuality and reliability.
Reach forklift truck experience and certificate.
Full driving licence.
Positive attitude and motivated with good communication skills.
Good literacy skills using the English language.
Attention to detail and well organised.
Show initiative, be helpful to achieving the needs of the business.
Competent in this role and courteous manner at all times.
