Morning everyone, we have some news which some people may already be aware of. Our restaurant in Heaton Chapel will be closing in the next month. It’s such a shame but somethings are out of your control. We’ve adapted, changed everything that can be changed but rising costs, increased wage bills, employer NI and VAT remaining as it is, it’s not viable to continue where we are.
We know several businesses like us that are busier than ever but that doesn’t mean they’re actually profiting, just working hard to make ends meet. Unfortunately our Heaton Chapel site will become another statistic in this country’s continuing failing restaurant industry.
Thankfully it’s not the end for I Knead Pizza as we’ve found a new home at The University of Manchester on campus The Market We also still have our kitchen in Ardwick so we will be available on Uber Eats and Deliveroo and collections. You’ll be able to order our Bake At Homes for delivery (we’ll post more about this soon)
We will always be street food traders, cater private parties, weddings and corporate events so please always bear us in mind for your catering needs.
While i have the opportunity, we just want to thank every single customer who has supported us when we were the ‘Burbs and when we changed back to IKP. It’s been an amazing experience overall meeting so many locals and getting to know them. It’s been a genuine pleasure ❤️
