The Jamporium is a small business selling preserves, marmalades, fruit curds and chutneys. All products are home made and contain high levels of fruit.

It's that time of year. Fruit, fruit and more fruit.
Over the next few months we will be bringing you a whole host of delicious fruit preserves with an autumn theme.
Pear and ginger preserve
Pear and ginger nectar (to drizzle on porridge and pancakes)
Fig and orange preserves
Damson preserve
Rhubarb and strawberry preserve
Blackberry and cassis preserve
Crab apple jelly
Bramble and apple jelly
Spiced plum jelly
Elderberry and port jelly (available nearer Christmas)
Elderberry cordial (full of vitamin C)
Coming to you at the Norton Green Market NortonGreenMarket this Saturday 12 September and at the West Auckland Farmers and Indie Market Gather North Farmers & Indie Market® at the Manor House Hotel in West Auckland this Sunday 13 September

We are sorry to announce that from 1 September 2026 we are having to put up our prices. 🥲
This is due to a pesky thing called the glass tax which has added between 4% and 6% to the cost of all our glassware. That, plus the rise in the cost of gas and electricity. 🥲🥲
From 1 September our prices will be as follows:

1 x standard jar £4.00
3 × standard jars £10.00 (we have kept this deal as it's our most popular one)
5 × standard jars £16.00

1 x small jar £3.00
4 x small jars £10.00

Cordials, syrups and fruit cheeses are priced as standard jars.
A gift box for three jars is still an additional £1.00.

We are sad, but we hope you understand. 🥲🥲🥲

On the plus side, if you bring back your jars clean of all labels and glue, we are still offering 20p per jar off your next purchase. 😊

£2 per jar - cash preferred (through the letter box would be great).

All cash taken today will go directly to our friends' charity The Meserani Project

All have sell by dates between October and December, so plenty of time left to enjoy.

We have surplus because of the huge amounts of apples donated last year.

PLEASE - walk if you can. Stopping in your car will just cause traffic chaos.

Hello out there!
This Saturday 22 August, The Jamporium be at the Middleton in Teesdale Farmers and Indie Market Gather North Events

We will be bringing our usual range of home-made fruit preserves and vintage jam pots.

We will also be having a little end of season sale.
Last year there was a huge glut of apples and we over estimated the amount of produce we could shift. So, we have a bit of apple jelly and apple cider butter to move on. All with use by dates of October to December, so plenty of time to eat yet.
These will be for sale at £2.00 per jar instead of the usual £3.50. So grab yourself a bargain.

If there are any left on Sunday, they will be out on the drive at Number 9 (if you know, you know). Same price.

Then on Sunday 9 August we will be at the Gather North Farmers and Indie Market Gather North Events at the Manor House Hotel in West Auckland
Both fabulous events, packed with great traders.

It's a great fair and a great day out.

Just a reminder where to find us this weekend.
The Brancepeth Castle Summer Craft Fair from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July in this beautiful setting. Brancepeth Castle
We'll be on a market stall in the courtyard.
There will be a whole host of fabulous traders, entertainment, re-enactments and food from the on site café.
A really great weekend, so we hope to see you there.
We will have chilli jelly (after we recently sold out!) 🌶 🌶 🌶 and lots of summery jams, marmalades and cordials.
