Fat Beef started in 2020.
The funny thing is, I never really cared about burgers before that.
Then a friend took me to Beefy Boys.
It was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth.
The quality of the meat, the melt of the cheese, the build, the flavour… everything was just delicious.
I remember thinking:
“Can burgers actually taste like this?”
From that point on I was obsessed.
Not with opening a food truck.
Not with opening a restaurant.
Not with starting a business.
I just wanted to create my own version of the best burger I’d ever eaten.
So me and a friend went through a lot of trial and error.
Different ingredients.
Different builds.
Different ideas.
I finally got to a point where I thought:
“This is finally good enough that I’m proud to put my name on it.”
And that’s how Fat Beef began.
The dream was never to be as good as somebody else.
The dream was always to create a burger that makes somebody stop, take another bite and think:
“F**k me, that slaps.”
Fat Beef started with a feeling. Just a bloke who ate a burger and never stopped thinking about it.
