Fat Beef started in 2020.

The funny thing is, I never really cared about burgers before that.

Then a friend took me to Beefy Boys.

It was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth.

The quality of the meat, the melt of the cheese, the build, the flavour… everything was just delicious.

I remember thinking:

“Can burgers actually taste like this?”

From that point on I was obsessed.

Not with opening a food truck.
Not with opening a restaurant.
Not with starting a business.

I just wanted to create my own version of the best burger I’d ever eaten.

So me and a friend went through a lot of trial and error.

Different ingredients.
Different builds.
Different ideas.

I finally got to a point where I thought:

“This is finally good enough that I’m proud to put my name on it.”

And that’s how Fat Beef began.

The dream was never to be as good as somebody else.

The dream was always to create a burger that makes somebody stop, take another bite and think:

“F**k me, that slaps.”

Fat Beef started with a feeling. Just a bloke who ate a burger and never stopped thinking about it.

Well… I’ve finally done it. 🍔

The first ever Fat Beef YouTube video is live.

It’s not perfect. I’d already change a few things if I filmed it again tomorrow. But after spending far too long thinking about it, I decided it was time to stop planning and actually start.

This video is all about something I’ve spent years obsessing over:

Why some burgers are good… and some burgers are the ones you can’t stop thinking about.

If you’ve ever wondered why your burgers don’t quite hit the way you want them to, this one’s for you.

More than anything though, this is the start of the Fat Beef journey.

If you watch it, thank you. If you enjoy it, let me know what you think.

Many of you know Fat Beef is a dream I’m building outside of my day job.

What you might not know is that over the last few months I’ve also been organising a charity football event to raise money for Glow’s Safe Accommodation Services, supporting individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.

Honestly, I never expected it to grow into what it has.

We’ve now got:

⚽ Charity Football Match
🍔 Backyard burgers
🍕 Bowe's Pizza
🏰 FREE bouncy castle from Arnie’s castles
🎶 Live music from Georgia Breese Cover Artist
🎁 Over £300 worth of raffle prizes
🥃 Sixtowns Gin
🎪 Stalls & activities

If you’re local and free this Sunday, I’d genuinely love to see some familiar Fat Beef faces there ❤️

I’ll pop the event link in the comments below.

And if you can’t make it, a share would mean the world

If you’re coming, let me know in the comments 🙌🏼

Fat Beef isn’t really a burger business. It’s a flavour business that happens to sell burgers.

A flavour-obsessed burger brand built around creating burgers people can’t stop thinking about.

I’ve created the perfect burger and I want to share it with the world.

If I had to serve a bland burger, I’d rather Fat Beef not exist.

If I had to compromise on the spice mix then it isn’t Fat Beef.

If I had to cut corners on ingredients then I cut corners on flavour.

I’m the type of person that doesn’t see the point in having a restaurant or food truck unless you want people to taste something.

The dream was never to be as good as somebody else. I don’t want people saying it’s as good as Five Guys. I want them saying it’s the best burger they’ve ever had.

The dream comment isn’t supposed to be ‘that’s as good as Five Guys’. The dream comment is ‘I’ve been thinking about that burger all week.’

The burger is the centrepiece. The experience is what people remember.

Fat Beef was always about sharing something I genuinely believe in.

If flavour doesn’t come first, what’s the point?

I’ve never stopped thinking about Fat Beef.

That’s me. Call me Fat Beef.

🍔 Fat Beef.

I’ve been thinking about this post for a long time.

A lot of people have asked over the years if Fat Beef is coming back, and I’ve asked myself the same question more times than I can count.

Life got busy. Loads changed. Things moved on.

But one thing that’s never left me is Fat Beef.

I still think about the burgers.
I still think about the people who supported me.
And I still think about what Fat Beef could become one day.

So this is my question to anyone that’s made it this far:

If Fat Beef came back with no delivery service, would you be interested?

If you used to order from me, let me know.
If you’ve never tried Fat Beef but would like to, let me know.
And if you’d like to see Fat Beef return one day, give this a share.

I’d love to know who’s still out there 🍔

Who here has actually had Fat Beef before? 👀

I’m trying to see who’s still here from the good old days.

For those of you that haven’t seen -
It’s time for an update
(please like/comment/share for more reach on the post):

Fat Beef is now on Tik Tok! As you may know, Fat Beef is temporarily/permanently closed, I’ve never explained why, but I will be doing as one of my future videos on Tik Tok. (Coming soon)

The Tik Tok was created with the narrative of cooking burgers until Tik Tok pays for a Food Truck for Fat Beef. If you’re on board with this idea, have enjoyed Fat Beef in the past, would enjoy the content, and are engaging, please go give Fat Beef a follow on Tik Tok to see how far we can get!
