Please note that I do not make cakes as business so only accept requests from family and friends.

I started baking because having two children with allergies made it difficult to simply buy a cake from a supermarket. I decided that, if I had to do it myself, I might as well do it properly. With the help of a friend who makes cakes professionally I was able to learn enough to get me started and found that I love watching my ideas appear in front of me on the cake board. I get a huge sense of sa

tisfaction from making cakes, so love that my friends and family now ask me to make cakes for them too. People often ask why I don't go into business, but I don't want the worry of all the paperwork that would go with it! I'm happy as I am, taking requests as and when I have time, and just asking that my outgoings are covered. I don't bake for profit, I bake for pleasure :)
