☀️ HEATWAVE OPENING HOURS UPDATE ☀️

With temperatures set to remain exceptionally high this week, we've made the decision to close a little earlier than usual over the nextr few days.

Working around hot griddles and ovens is challenging at the best of times, and the welfare of our team has to come first.

We'll still be open as normal in the mornings however we will be closing at 12PM, so please make sure to call in early to avoid disappointment.

We'd like to thank all of our customers for their understanding and continued support.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures out there. 👏

We've had an incredibly busy day in the shop today and just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who popped in to see us.

Days like today remind us how lucky we are to be part of such a fantastic local community. Whether you joined us for breakfast, picked up your usual oatcakes, or treated Dad to his favourite filling, we genuinely appreciate every single customer who walks through our doors.

A massive thank you also to our brilliant team for their hard work today. It's been non-stop from start to finish!

We hope you've all had a fantastic Father's Day and managed to spend some quality time with family.

A massive thank you to Bluebell School for coming along to our litter pick today, really appreciate your help and we hope you enjoyed the oatcakes. Amazing that we've managed to unravel a few more oatcake fans too!

Thank you to Oatcake Jake aswell for helping out despite doing a full day at work. Really appreciate your help and commitment to the cause!

Tomorrow is the day! 🧡 And we've just had some incredible news that's made it even more special.

Bluebell School are joining us for the litter pick - with multiple classes attending throughout the day. 🏫

We are absolutely delighted. This was always about more than just picking up litter - it's about taking pride in the place we call home. And what better way to do that than passing those values on to the next generation.

Kidsgrove is our community. It has been since 1980. And seeing local children come out to help make it a better place genuinely means everything to us. 🧡

We're back! 🧡 The Kidsgrove Oatcakes community litter pick returns and we want YOU to join us!

For those who came last time - you already know what this is about. For those who missed it - come and join us this time, you won't regret it.

Kidsgrove is our home. It's where we've been making oatcakes since 1980 and we take pride in this community every single day. So we're stepping outside again to do our bit and keep it looking the way it deserves.

We'll be tackling the alleyways behind King Street and down towards Aldi - gloves on, bags ready, let's get it done. 💪

We've sent oatcakes to Australia. We've had bikers cook them at the Arctic Circle. And now this. 🧡

A customer came in a while back and bought some dry mix for two friends, a Stokie and a Brummie - who are living in India running a factory together.

Yesterday, they sent us these. 🇮🇳

Proper Staffordshire oatcakes, made from scratch with our dry mix, bacon, cheese, brown sauce. The full works. In India.

We genuinely don't know where this little bag of dry mix is going to end up next. Australia, Norway, India... and that's just the last few weeks.

We asked the team and a few familiar faces what their go-to filling is - and the answers did not disappoint.

Jake went classic - bacon and cheese. Can't argue with that.
Our customer though? Bacon, sausage, cheese AND egg. The full works. Absolute scenes.
