Today is Susan's birthday! You would be hard pressed to find anyone who's worked inside and outside as hard as she has every single day for an undisclosed number of decades 😅

While most farming awards these days are won by tiktok influencers, people like Mum don't get any recognition or plaudits.

We've also had test results back for our pasteurised and raw milk and they've passed with flying colours 👍

We will be celebrating with a milkshake or two and a slice of cake 😀🍰🥛🍓🥤

Our milk is not homogenized just like it used to be.

Homogenisation is basically where they force the milk through microscopic valves and make the fat particles smaller.

You can tell our milk is not homogenized with the lovely cream line, especially so with the raw milk 🥰

Safer than the ‘raw’ variety, unhomogenised milk is high in vitamins and may protect against cardiovascular disease

We are busy baling today but don't panic, Susan will be on call for any help required with the vending machines 👍

We can't really complain too much about the weather this year so far it's been just right to allow us to get on with all the field work 😀

Someone's not where they should be Lady Laura!! Thankfully she didn't give us a run around to get her back. 🐮

We're open now with a fresh tank of milk in the vending machine and a fridge full of raw milk for today's pre-orders.

Looks like the weather might be turning a bit dryer for a while! 🥳 The cows have been starting to make a mess of the fields.

Another load of our printed glass bottles have arrived! Like everything else they're more expensive than the last load.

Hopefully I can maneuver them to the storage room without any smashes 🤣💥

We had a customer collect their raw milk at 7am yesterday literally straight out of the cow an hour before.

It seems the strawberry syrup ran out last night so apologies to whoever probably had half measures. All topped up now 👍🥛🍓

Fairy Duchess just can't get enough of the milk! 😅🥰

It's that good. You can get some from our vending machine just about to be refilled with a fresh batch. Open until 8pm.

We've finally replaced our rotten old yard gates with some nice and shiny new ones 😍 we'll sleep easier knowing there's an extra backstop if any cows get out in the night 👍

Had some new customers yesterday afternoon 😅 They have been nesting in one of our fields and it seems they were going exploring with their mum.
