☀️ 🌼Gorse season is here, and we’d love to make this year’s harvest a true community effort.

At Lews Distillery, gorse flower is one of the key botanicals that gives our gin its bright, coconut‑kissed character. And there’s nothing quite like the flavour of wild gorse gathered right here on the Isle of Lewis.

So we’re inviting our community to get involved.
For every 1kg of hand‑picked gorse flowers, we’ll trade you a bottle of our gin as a thank‑you for helping us craft something truly local.

As you’re out gathering, please remember to forage responsibly — take care around the bushes and always leave plenty behind for our pollinating bee friends who rely on these blossoms.
Once foraged just pop them into a ziplock bag and freeze for freshness 😊

A lovely wee afternoon providing welcome drinks at for the Taste the Outer Hebrides event, Michelin ⭐️ Chefs are exploring Lewis & Harris over the next couple of days sampling the VERY BEST our islands have to offer....shame the weather is against us, but thats the Hebrides for you, like our bottles, Dark & Stormy 😊..but you are all in for some really amazing treats ❤️

Our best boys Moss and Tan have hung up their collars and are in their Christmas best relaxing and ready for lots and LOTS of turkey, chipolatas and new toys to destroy 😁🎅🐶
