What a fantastic night last Saturday with Gregor Hunter from The Isle of Raasay Distillery. Gregor did an amazing job of presenting 6 delicious drams from their range and a wee bonus dram at the end, giving us all a sneak preview of a future release, which went down extremely well. What a treat!! Thank you Gregor. 🥃

Raasay Single Malt Marsala Cask is full of fruity flavours, baked apples, apricots, and lingering sweet smoke on the palate.

Bottled at 50.7% ABV non chill filtered, natural colour.

The GlenAllachie 21 year old Cask Strength Batch 7 has arrived

This single malt was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before it's final maturation in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. It is a deep, rich mahogany in colour, with rich espresso, spiced plums, dark chocolate and forest fruits flavours.

Bottled at 51.9% ABV, natural colour, non-chill filtered.

TASTING NOTES FROM THE PRODUCER

NOSE

Baked ginger and mocha, followed by honeycomb, spiced orange and candied hazelnuts, with toasted cinnamon and cocoa.​

TASTE

Black cherries, mocha and poached red apples, followed by mānuka honey, crystallised ginger and muscovado sugar, with damson plums, raisin buttercream and treacle.
