🥔 Lovely, freshly dug Uig potatoes, ready for our potato salad again this weekend!

🦀 Crab claws are still on the menu, but no hand-dived scallops today at least.

🌦️ This is our last definite full weekend at the trailer in Laxay this year. We’re closed next weekend, away for a wedding, and this might well be it for full weekends here this season. If you fancy braving the weather, come on down! 😊

Poached local crab claws, served with Blue Man garlic mayo, alongside all the usual Blue Man favourites. 🐟🍟

Right folks, here are our opening hours for the next few weekends.

With the evenings drawing in a little, we’ve brought our final collection time forward from 7.30pm to 7pm. We’re open from 1.30pm to 7pm on:

Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September
Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September
Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October

The Blue Man trailer will be closed on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 October. We’re going to the wedding of a much-loved member of our team!

Right folks, we’ve got some changes to our opening hours over the next couple of weeks, so here’s a quick update.

This weekend, we have an extra opening tomorrow, Thursday 27 August. Our first collection slot will be at 5pm and our last collection slot will be at 7.30pm.

We’ll be closing slightly earlier on Friday evening, with our last collection slot at 7pm instead of 7.30pm. On Saturday, we’re open as normal from 1.30pm until 7.30pm.

The Blue Man trailer will be closed on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September while we cater for a private function.

We’ll then be back to normal on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September, with collection slots available from 1.30pm until 7.30pm on both days.

🌶️ Working away preparing for the weekend! 🌶️

This is our Blue Man chilli sauce, which cooks down for a good eight to ten hours before it’s ready. It contains various chillies, peppers, pineapple, mango, garlic, ginger, lime and a few other ingredients. 🍍🥭 🫒🌶

It’s served with our delicious crab cakes 🦀 and also forms the base of our chilli and lime mayonnaise.
