Absolutely thrilled to hear are taking on a new site in West Sussex!

We couldn’t ask for a more supportive customer who celebrates our produce with such flare and creativity!

Delivering more local and sustainably farmed food from field to plate is our mission, and working with chefs and restaurateurs who share that goal turns this (occasionally) up hill battle into a down hill sprint.

Looking forward to dropping in!

We are two months into Venison season here in West Sussex!

Huge thanks to all who have supported this process by buying our venison, each deer sustainably culled is a step towards the vision of a healthy deer population in the South Downs.

A recent report published by the Forestry Commission has validated the work being done by us and other game dealers in promoting eating venison as a means to protect the woodland.

If you’re interested in taking some venison from us, please get in touch with the sales team!

🎃Happy Halloween from the Chef’s Farms team!👻

This is a conflicted time of year on farm:

On one hand, the food waste caused by the pumpkin carving tradition that we adopted from our American cousins is a thorny issue, and contributes to the terrifying FAO statistic that 1/3rd of all food grown globally is wasted.

On the other, growing pumpkins represents a much needed commercial opportunity for many of our growers at this time of year, and pick-your-own pumpkin patches (like ) are an excellent opportunity to get people onto farms to learn about agriculture.

At Chef’s Farms, we see both sides and encourage chefs to take this opportunity to get local and delicious pumpkin and squash on the menu!
