This week we have had a visit from the food standards agency, Worcestershire Regularity Services.

They visit all food businesses to inspect everything they do from food safety to staff training, building structure to allergens to make sure everything they do is safe for customers.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have again gained 5 stars ~ very good. The highest possible.level in both our kiosks.

This is our third 5 star award in a row ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🍦

🎉As Carnival is nearly upon us, we wanted to highlight some of the incredible people who help to make it happen; the volunteers, performers and local legends who will be with us on Saturday, getting into Carnival spirit and supporting the Stourport community. 🎉

Our next ‘Carnival Hero’ is Helen Murdoch from Stourport Riverside Kiosks, a legend in Stourport, who will be serving amazing local ice cream, slushies, hot food and hot and cold drinks. Keep an eye out for the special (and very much edible!) Carnival wafers... 🍦
Throughout the summer, Stourport Riverside Kiosks are open to the public at the Riverside, selling sweet and savoury treats. During the autumn and winter months, the Kiosks become the pick up point for pre-ordered hot chocolate bombs and other chocolate creations 🍫

We can't wait to welcome you to Stourport-on-Severn Carnival this year!

Please find below some key information for visitors attending Carnival:

• First aid:

First aid cover will be available for the duration of the event. Please ask a marshal or member of the events team if you need any assistance.

• Road closures:

Road closures will be in place for the walking parade as it travels through the town centre along public highways. Please allow extra time for your journey and plan your route to avoid the road closures in place.

• Lost child point :

If you become separated from a child, please go straight to the designated lost child point at the Welfare Caravan, by the Riverside Bandstand and speak to a marshal immediately

• Toilets:

Toilet facilities are available at the Riverside Meadows, located in the lower car park. Disabled and baby changing facilities are available.

• Parking:

Please be a considerate neighbour and park responsibly. There are several pay and display car parks in Stourport-on-Severn. The Barcodes are bringing more than 50 years of musical experience to Riverside Meadows, with a setlist packed with 60s classics, blues, rock, soul and pop favourites. Whatever your musical taste, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

🌊 Whether you're relaxing by the river, catching up with friends or simply enjoying the atmosphere, Riverside Meadows is the place to be this Sunday.

Join us at Riverside Meadows, Stourport-on-Severn, on Sunday 23 August from 2pm to 4pm for a free performance at the bandstand. Bring a chair, pack a picnic, and settle in for an afternoon of great music in a beautiful riverside setting.

With just one more Music in the Park event to come at Riverside Meadows after this one, now's the perfect time to make the most of summer while it's here.

🎉🎉We have a fun-filled day awaiting you at Stourport Carnival 2026 🎉🎉

Amazing performers, stand-out singers and even some furry friends- join us for a brilliant family day out! Featuring a walking parade, classic car show, market stall holders, food vendors, live music, children’s entertainment and a dog show.

The event will take place down on the Riverside Meadows, Stourport-on-Severn, with the walking parade leaving War Memorial Park (Lickhill Road/Lower Lickhill Road) at 12noon. The parade will travel through the town centre down the High Street, onto New Street, down Martins Way, ending on the Riverside Meadows.

Please note that road closures will be in place on the day.
