🌿 Dear F&O Larder Community,

With a heavy heart, we share the news of the planned closure of our beloved F&O Larder.

Following the passing of my dear partner Maria, it's with a mix of sadness and gratitude that we announce this chapter's end. Maria's passion and dedication made F&O Larder a cherished part of our community at the top of George Street.

Importantly, Fig & Olive Cafe is not closing, just its little sister across the road.

While the decision to close F&O Larder wasn't easy, we find solace in knowing that Maria's legacy will live on through Fig & Olive. In the coming weeks, we'll be transitioning a curated selection of our products to Fig & Olive, ensuring you can still enjoy your favourites.

However, we regret to inform you that with the closure of F&O Larder, we'll be saying goodbye to our cheese and chocolate counters, as well as the "weigh your own" products. Your support over the past two years has meant the world to us, and we'll deeply miss serving you in our beautiful little grocer.

F&O Larder will remain open for the next three weeks, giving you the opportunity to say goodbye and stock up on your favourite items.

Gift vouchers will be honoured on presentation at Fig & Olive Cafe once the Larder closes.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. We invite you to join us at Fig & Olive as we continue to celebrate Maria's vision and the spirit of community she instilled in us all.

On behalf of all the staff at F & O Larder, I would just like to thank all of our customers for their kind words of support during what has been an incredibly difficult week. We didn't lose a boss but rather an incredible friend.

Our shop doors will be open as usual (Wed-Sat 11-4). I look forward to seeing you all.
