Hello from Greece! - Fulden’s Greek Orange Cake Recipe 🍊
As many of you know, travel is one of my greatest sources of inspiration. I love discovering local flavours, learning traditional recipes and bringing fresh ideas home to share with you at The Dough House.
This September, I’m spending some time in beautiful Greece—enjoying the food, sunshine and wonderful hospitality. So, I thought I would send you a little taste of Greece with one of my favourite traditional desserts: Portokalopita, a deliciously fragrant Greek orange and filo cake.
It’s golden, wonderfully moist and soaked in fresh orange syrup. The crumbled filo gives it a unique texture, while yogurt keeps the cake beautifully soft.
