We had a great day yesterday at Worcester Livestock Market for the Cotswold Sheep Society sale and the Roelcots Cotswold Sheep dispersal sale. The Roelcots flock is very special to us as we were lucky enough to get our first Cotswold sheep from them. We wish John and Anne the very happiest of retirements and thank you so much for doing so much for this brilliant traditional local rare breed. Also, Ben and Abi, we know you’ll keep smashing it out of the park with your tremendous sheep.
Anyway, welcome to Dell Farm, Anya and Apple who both join our breeding flock 😀

Time to share some exciting developments! The hugely talented Helen Davis and I have been learning, experimenting and crafting our little hearts out to bring our own wool and wool crafts to the market. Our Etsy shop is now live with the absolutely beautiful Cotswold Curls which can be used for all manner of crafts. Other fleece products will be added shortly and, in the near future, some truly fabulous handmade gifts and homewares will be available. The shop name is Dechan Designs where I will also be selling my popular chenille finger knitted blankets, sadly not made from our own fleece but locally made all the same 🥰

Here come the boys!! Our beautiful Swiss Valais Blacknose Rams 😍 From left to right - Ivan, Inigo and Lochan. These guys are so friendly but you have to watch out for those horns - especially when the Digestive Biscuits come out!

This is Isobel 1 day old, her mother couldn’t support her along with 2 other lambs. So we took her to the Farm, she is a pure Cotswold and will be hand raised for the next few months. She will eventually join the small flock of the Ewes.
