Stubble raking our harvested winter barley ground to get a germination of barley and grass weeds. The fields will then have digestate applied, cultivated and then left until some rain when Oil Seed R**e will be drilled.

Matt visited the farm today to have an inspection of our boxes. Two of our Barn Owl boxes had young in this year. One with 4, think some had already fledged, and the other with 6 in. Great conversation work 👍🏼

End of May and making our first batch of Hay. Young grass took some drying but with 5 days of 30oc sun it has worked out well.
