It’s here and it’s ready for your delectation!! Introducing Sunniside Sour - it’s all organic white and stoneground white flour, with salt and water. We’re pretty chuffed with this baby! We also have our fabulous focaccia - also organic - we’re told that it’s as good as any you can get in Italy! We have this on sale at both Sunrise and Sunshine. 🌞

Sourdough and focaccia - yes my friends!! It’s finally here. As you know, we’re a small team and it takes time to get everything right. We will have sourdough and focaccia today and tomorrow. If you want it on Saturdays - you’re going to have to let us know - we want to make sure there’s no waste as we can’t eat it all ourselves 😂

Plot to Plate with Just Let Your Soul Grow!🌱🍽️

Join Just Let Your Soul Grow CIC and Sunshine Co-operative for a relaxed afternoon of cooking, learning, and conversation. On the 22nd September from 1pm-3pm, we'll be bringing you a cooking class with Just Let Your Soul Grow in our Sun Room at Sunshine Corner.

Discover how to make easy, affordable flatbreads and hummus, flavoured with fresh herbs grown at Just Let Your Soul Grow Community Garden. You'll learn about herbs that are easy to grow at home and how to create tasy, budget-friendly meals using everyday cupboard ingredients! 🪴🥙

This is also a great opportunity to chat with the Just Let Your Soul Grow team about growing herbs from seed and find out how their Seed Library can provide a cost effective way to kick start your growning journey at home. Whether you have a garden, a yard, a balcony or just a windowsill. We'll share tips to help you get started.

As well as taking part in the cooking workshop, you'll be invited to join a community conversation on about future cooking demonstrations and workshops. We'd love to hear your ideas, interests and suggestions to help shape future community food and growing activities.

This event is funded by The National Lottery through the Just Let Your Soul Grow Sustainable Sunderland Programme, we hope to see you there! ☀️
