Popped to Sheepfolds Stables Sunday market last weekend as I've been dying to try Simply Proven and it was worth the trip for them alone😍

The most amazing massive cinammon buns, they supply many Sunderland cafes. They had OG, white choc n raspberry, biscoff, but of course I had to get the apple crumble. Absolutely insane 10/10 no notes, I am really into cinammon buns currently and this is one of the best for sure.

The market is the 2nd Sunday of every month and theres a fab selection of vendors with loads of local businesses, I popped to AWesome Chocolates and Hot Wax | The Eco Candle . There's also all the usual sheepfolds food options such as Propa and Deep North.

I definitely recommend checking out next month's Sunday market!🫶

A lovely Friday night catch up at .bistro2026 south shields newest Italian, located on Ocean Road

Food was fab featuring a really authentic carbanora, cacio e pepe arancini, and parma ham chicken. Service was fab and prices were reasonable, can't go wrong really!

Theres a really good range on the menu and its quite reasonably priced too, offering pizzas, pastas and traditional Greek dishes.

We tried;
🍽Trio of hummus with warm pitta bread
🧀Deep fried feta
🍗Gyros portion
🍗Chicken Santorini (grilled chicken with peppers and feta in a lightly spiced tomato and white wine sauce)
🍟Homemade chunky chips

The food was absolutely delicious! I absolutely love Greek food so am glad to have another option in the North East. I'd just returned from a week of eating gyros wraps in Corfu so I ordered the chicken dish and this was a lovely light alternative with loads of flavour! There are so many nice bars in Morpeth to pop for a drink before or after, so we enjoyed a pre dinner spritz at first🫶

Would recommend, would return🇬🇷

Brunch at on a very sunny bank holiday Monday, a lovely dog friendly local spot just on Blyth Beach!

🍳Breakfast hash (£12.50) - chorizo sausage, bacon, onion, mushrooms, avocado, baby roast potatoes
🥓Small breakfast (£9) - bacon, sausages, egg, beans, hash browns and toast
🥤Passionfruit cooler (£4)
☕️Cappuccino

Delicious family meal for my birthday at enjoying their Sunday special which is £19.95 for poppadoms, a starter, curry, rice, naan and ice cream.

I went for my standard order of chicken chaat followed by chicken tikka korma, but there were a lot more adventurous orders around the table too! My dad really enjoyed his prawn starter and my brother rated his lamb curry.

It was absolutely delicious as usual, been here many times and you can't really go wrong! I just love their chunky garlic chips too! Was a lovely meal at a reasonable price, and I've never had such a cheap glass of sauvignon blanc in a long time!!

Would recommend, would return 🫶
