Another absolute beast of an event under our belts!
Purbeck Valley Folk Festival was another level. Just like Swanage Carnival it was huge — we had queues from the moment we opened until the moment we closed!
We were so lucky to hustle a last-minute pitch and managed to pull it off in a 2 day turnaround 💪🏽🔥Our healthy , Huge and absolutely flew all weekend.
There is a huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to bring MUNCH Streetfood to an event. There’s the food shopping, prep, cleaning down the truck, getting everything ready, moving the truck with all the extra equipment, including fridges and freezers, and then the 18-hour days throughout the event, plus the days either side.
It’s bloody exhausting, but we absolutely love it.
A massive thank you to everyone who stepped up, jumped in and worked their asses off to help us pull it all together. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. You’re absolute legends.
So, if you see the truck at our usual spot but we’re not open, that’s why. There will be days between events when the truck is there but we’re not serving. Those days are needed for us to rest, recover and get everything ready for the next event.
We’re really sorry we haven’t been open at our usual spot throughout August, but unfortunately, we just can’t do both. These events take a huge amount out of us.
Our events finish in mid-September, and after that we’ll be back at our usual spot full-time, with a few surprises up our sleeve.
These events are really important to
They help subsidise the business and keep our prices down throughout the year for our regulars, so your support at these events genuinely makes a difference.
So please bear with us while we get through this busy run of events. We’ll be back soon with all your favourites!

And we’re back on Thursday 6th August. For the Swanage Rotary Community fete. This event is a personal favourite of ours. The Rotary work so hard all over the world throughout the year supporting smaller charities. Come down be part of this wonderful summer fete run by more hardworking volunteers of Swanage. There’s lovely hot food, Buddha bowls, chicken wraps, breakfast, Crepes, pizza, sour dough wraps, cakes, tea, games, tombola, and so much more- good old fashioned British fun. 🫖 🍰 🌯

🎉 WOW… what a week at Swanage Carnival! 🎉
We turned up, we grafted, we conquered… and somehow survived the HUGE, non-stop queues all week! 💪🔥
It was incredible to introduce so many new faces to what Munch Streetfood is all about – fresh, healthy, flavour-packed food, cooked right in front of you and made exactly how you like it. 🌯🥙✨
To everyone who queued up, came back for seconds, recommended us to friends, or simply stopped by to support us... THANK YOU! ❤️ Your patience, kindness and custom have absolutely blown us away, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better week.
Seeing so many smiling faces enjoying our food made every long day worthwhile, and we're beyond grateful for the amazing support from the Swanage community.
A huge thank you to Swanage Carnival for giving us this fantastic opportunity. We loved every minute of being part of such an incredible event, and we're already counting down until next year! 🎡🎉
