Our new Hot Honey is now available online at www.oddingtonbees.wales Mix-and-match up to any four 8oz/227g jars for £4 UK-wide postage. Choose from our new Hot Honey, runny wildflower honey or soft-set creamed honey. One’s good for your pizza, one for cereal and one for your toast!

Ghost Bees! A couple of our new Gower apiaries have Himalayan Balsalm nearby and it leaves a distinctive white stripe of pollen down the back of the bees as they forage on it. Whilst it’s an invasive plant species and terrible for the local environment it does provide an abundant nectar flow late in the season once the bramble goes over.

🔥 Hot Honey is almost here…

Our Chile de Árbol infused wildflower honey will be available very soon.

We chose Chile de Árbol for its clean, bright heat and subtle smoky character. It delivers a satisfying kick that builds gently, complementing rather than overpowering the delicate floral notes of our raw wildflower honey.

Sweet. Spicy. Perfect drizzled over pizza, fried chicken, grilled meats, roasted vegetables or your favourite cheese.

Keep an eye out, it’s nearly ready. 🍯🌶️

What a beautiful frame of pollen - perfect baby bee food! As we start to reach peak summer there’s such a variety of colours from all the wildflowers the bees forage on in the local area.

We have olive green, likely to be clover or lime trees. Golden yellow, possibly hogweed. The grey/olive colours, almost blue, may be rosebay willowherb but most probably bramble - also key nectar sources. We think the bright orange pollen pants may be Himalayan balsam.
