The Gower Peninsula lies to the west of Swansea, jutting out into the Bristol Channel, it is Britain's very first 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The Northern shore consists of a large Salt Marsh covering about 4000 acres of land within the Burry/Loughor Estuary. The sheep graze on this tidal marsh and gain their main nourishment from this unique pasture, which consists of salt marsh grasse

s, Samphire, Sorrel, Sea Lavender and Thrift. This gives the Lamb a very special flavour that is sought after by chefs and food connoisseurs alike. We are proud to have won many prestigious awards such as the Great Taste Awards, National Trust Fine Farm produce awards, and True Taste of Wales.

Weekend forecast: High tide! 🌊

Once it passes, the flock heads out to the salt marsh. They graze out there full-time until high tides, when our trusty sheepdogs will round them all up and bring them safely in. 🐾
