Tall grass long rest periods for the fields and grass bred animals means we can farm without chemicals because you don't want to eat it and neither do I!

Fingers crossed grass bred grass fed Angus beef in September time.

Little suprise this morning. We won't miss this little one she's got a small black spot on the back of her neck.

This is exactly why grass bred grass fed don't use chemicals

The UK has committed to reducing the impact of pesticides on both the environment and human health.

But one widely used practice remains in place: spraying glyphosate on crops just before harvest.

This use has already been restricted in the European Union. Introducing a similar ban in the UK would help align with EU standards, while supporting progress toward national targets, including reducing pesticide impact by 10% by 2030 and helping meet global biodiversity commitments.

Glyphosate is used at scale across UK agriculture, with an average of 2,000 tonnes applied annually. Pre-harvest use plays a significant role in this, increasing the likelihood of residues in food and contributing to wider environmental risks.

This is a clear opportunity for policy to support both people and nature.
