This year’s theme is “lived experiences”.
And boy could I write an autobiography but Insta doesn’t allow it 😂 😜.
I have had to put up with SO much bullying in my adult life and still to this day do.
Gossipers, two faced people, people who can’t just be nice, people who make it out to be your fault and make it out like there is something wrong with your perspective or accusing you of making it up rather than owning up to their behaviour.
None of this helps or creates a good situation.
Not standing up for people and letting bullying happen can also contribute towards a lot.
A lot of people have made out they like me and have my best interests at heart but don’t stand up for me or back me up.
And whilst I had some bad experiences up in London towards the end, and have just been unlucky in my life in general, having asked and gotten back in touch with old colleagues and friends up in London I learnt that actually the absolute tripe I have had to put up with around the Swansea area in general is especially bad and just not normal compared to how friendly other places I’ve lived in the past are.
Some people need to take a long hard look at themselves in the 🪞.
And I’m the last person who’s a confrontational person or argumentative at all and I have made a habit of letting my results and success in life do my talking. My tolerance level is as high as Mount Everest and just last week I told the children at Walford Nursery & Primary School to not be like the bully.
And finally, my visit to this school was very emotional 🥲 🥹 😭 and EXTRA special for me because they teach their pupils from a young age that bullying is not nice and a BIG think about anti-bullying is made.
A lot of people try to silence me from having an opinion.
A lot of people don’t like my self confidence and extreme security in my own skin because it highlights the lack of either in them.
Sadly we live in a world where people who stand up to bullying are then looked down on.
Hopefully this post makes people 🤔.
