Locally produced Crofted Quails Eggs are now available 😋
Crofted Quail are raised at Croit Lara, in the Kyle of Sutherland, by the Brix Family. Eggs are hand collected daily from ethical habitat enclosures before being inspected and graded and packed in plastic free, beautifully hand stamped boxes. Each box contains one blue egg and all eggs are perfectly decorated by the Quail! They are perfect for salads, canapes, whole in quiches, with dipping salts, and pickled. They make lovely thank you gifts for foodies or in Christmas Hampers.

We get regular deliveries from Munro’s Fruit Merchants in Tain of the most amazingly fresh fruit and vegetables.
Munro’s have over 25 years experience of specialist catering and retail supply in the Highlands and are able to offer a viable local alternative to the multi nationals. Their emphasis has always been on the best quality produce (much of which they try to source as locally as possible) backed up with an excellent level of customer care and service.

Ohh no 😮 Good news, peeps are now confident and going back to the supermarkets. Bad news for Munro’s, restaurants, cafes, hotels are not yet there to cushion the fall. We managed to cater for over 3,000 households during April at the peak of the crisis. Thank you all to those who have supported us throughout! We are still operating our online shop with collections and deliveries and would be delighted to continue this service. This business like many others are running at a loss with the hope of surviving until some form of normality returns, unfortunately we will be unable to survive without continued local support.
