Monday: 9 AM - 1:30 PM
Tuesday: 9 AM - 6 PM
Wednesday: 9 AM - 6 PM (Post Office: 2 PM - 4 PM)
Thursday: 9 AM - 6 PM
Friday: 9 AM - 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM - 1 PM
Sunday: 10 AM - 12 PM

Evening, Talaton! Our hours for the week ahead:

Monday–Friday: 9am–6pm Saturday: 9am–1pm Sunday: 10am–12noon

Quick note: tomorrow's a bank holiday, but we're open as normal. No shorter hours, no closed sign — just pop in as you always would.

The Post Office desk is open Wednesday, 2–4pm.

And a reminder on Fix It for a Fiver: £5 a month from every household keeps this shop here. That's a loaf and a pint of milk. Think of us before you drive into town.

🎁A gift box of Talaton fudge solves a few problems.

Someone who's moved away and misses the place. A thank you for whoever fed the cat while you were off. A present for people who came to stay and wouldn't stop saying how lovely it is here. Anyone whose birthday you'd forgotten about until this morning.

£8.50, wrapped and ready, no wrapping paper required.

Tonight's the last night of Beautiful Days Festival, and what a weekend it's been.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall for breakfast bits, snacks, drinks, pegs or just a chat.

And a MASSIVE thank you to our volunteers, who gave up their whole weekend to make it happen.

Monday–Friday: 9am–6pm
Saturday: 9am–1pm
Sunday: 10am–12noon

The Post Office desk is open Wednesday, 2–4pm.

And a word on Fix It for a Fiver: if every household spent just £5 a month with us, our future would be secure. That's a jar of local chutney and a wedge of Devon cheese.

Last day! We're on site until the festival wraps up, so grab anything you need before you head home.

Today's hours: 7am – 11pm

Breakfast supplies, snacks, drinks, and whatever's left of our camping bits, toiletries, sun cream and eco-friendly plates & cutlery or whatever we have left 🫣

Huge thanks to our volunteers for another brilliant Beautiful Days – they've given up their whole weekend to keep this stall running.

Nearly halfway through the festival and the Talaton Community Shop stall is still going strong. Whatever you've run out of, come and see us.

Today's hours: 7am – 11pm

Breakfast bits (bacon, eggs, sausages, bread), drinks and snacks to keep you going, and the last of our camping bits, toiletries, sun cream and eco-friendly plates & cutlery.

Everyone behind that counter is a volunteer. Thank you for being patient with them – they're giving up their weekend for you.

Beautiful Days Festival 🎹🎤

Come and find us for breakfast supplies, snacks and all the bits you forgot to pack.

Today's hours: 7am – 11pm

Fresh bacon, eggs, sausages and bread each morning. Milk, drinks, snacks and sweets through the day. And a small stock of camping bits, toiletries, sun cream, eco-friendly plates & cutlery, and clothes pegs.

Our stall is run entirely by volunteers from the village. A little patience goes a long way.

Find the Talaton Community Shop stall at Beautiful Days Festival, ready to keep you fed and stocked all weekend.

⏰Today's hours: 12noon – 10pm

On the stall: fresh bacon, eggs, sausages and bread for your breakfast, plus milk, snacks, drinks and sweets to keep you going. We've also a limited stock of camping bits, toiletries, sun cream, eco-friendly plates & cutlery (no plastic here), and clothes pegs (IYKYK).

❤️Our whole team are volunteers, giving up their time for the community. Please be patient and kind with them.

Beautiful Days starts very soon, so here's what we get asked every year.

Beautiful Days starts this week and here's what you'll find us stocking: milk, bread, water, soft drinks and juice, confectionery, crisps and to***co, in plenty.

Fresh and chilled favourites too — sausages, bacon, eggs, cheese, ham, and fruit and veg — kept properly refrigerated until the point of sale (that's also why the soft drinks and water won't be chilled; the fridge space goes to food safety first).

We've a few nappies in stock, sizes 3, 4 and 5, plus a small stock of the everyday things people forget to pack.

Pegs - IYKYK - Bring your our craft things for decorating

A few things we don't carry: ice, anything in glass, matches, firelighters, vapes, newspapers, tonic water, baby food or formula.

We also can't take advance orders — we simply don't have the capacity.

We've been part of Beautiful Days since it started in 2003, and by now we usually know what you need before you do. 😉
