Just another magical April day cutting purple sprouting broccoli in the warm sun and cold rain while a thunderstorm rumbles on the other side of the river Douglas
Mother nature really knows how to put on a show!

FINALLY!
We have plants in the ground and it felt great to get some dirt under our fingers.
Lettuce
Fennel
Cavolo Nero
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Savoy cabbage
Spring cabbage
Parsley
Peas
It's very satisfying after being knocked back by the weather but it's better to keep the seed in the packet than make a bad job mauling it in.
Well sown is well grown πŸ‘
Another reminder that we'll be at Hebden Bridge Market and Helmshore Farmer's Market this Easter Sunday
