We are sad to announce that from this month we have decided to hang up our aprons, put away the mixers and turn off the ovens once and for all (but will honour all existing orders before doing so, of course!).
We are very sad to say goodbye to our loyal and lovely customers. We have really enjoyed baking for you all and have learnt lots of new skills along the way. However, after 8 years of running our business, we feel the time is now right for us to do something different.
We canā€™t thank you enough for your support, friendship and orders over the years and we wish you all health, happiness and good cake always!

We are now taking orders for our Christmas stollen.
Susi bakes our traditionalĀ German stollen using a recipe that has been passed down through her family. It's a butter rich bread, baked around a marzipan log, stuffed with raisins, cranberriesĀ and pistachios, soaked in rum. It's topped with a drizzle of icing and more cranberries and pistachios.
Our stollenĀ slices into 12 generous potions. It freezes well, so can be kept over the Christmas holiday, and is also deliciousĀ warmed or toasted.Ā 
Price is Ā£7.50 each, and it will be available to collect on Friday 20th December, from Alpraham.
