Hi, I'm Rachel, a flower grower in Cheshire. I grow sustainable, seasonal flowers for weddings, events and florists. You can join my workshops here on the farm or come along and pick your own flowers.

Seven women in three little groups came to my last workshop and the laughter emanating from my little studio was just brilliant.
Armfuls of flowers picked and arranged and a steady stream of chat;
Turns out if you give a bunch of women who don’t know one another a pair of snips and a vase, they’ll soon have covered children, jobs and hobbies.

If you’ve been thinking of booking and haven’t;
• you don’t need friends to come with you (forget the whatsapp group that you can’t manage to to secure a date between you all)
• you don’t need to know anything about flowers (most people don’t)

Just turn up- worse case scenario is you leave with a nice bunch of flowers and some mild cathartic venting (workshop described as this by an attendee) and best, you walk away with some new friends!

Anyway, one wreath workshop is already sold out and contrary to this whole post theme I love it when you come with your mates too - and you can bring wine. Shout me to book a date that actually suits you all- start another WhatsApp group- I mean we all need another in our lives!

Will you buy from a business that uses AI to promote themselves?

Am I alone here? Once I started seeing it - well now the world is awash with it.
I’m struggling to buy from a small business that uses AI in this way- I will always support small businesses, in fact I make an effort to do just that but I find it dishonest from a business that is trying to sell me something handmade or grown.
A business that flagrantly admits to using AI to write their posts for socials.
Do you think I’m unnecessarily bothered by this? I’d genuinely love to hear people’s views.
Perhaps this is hypocritical of me when using social media?!

Lovely request from an equally lovely lady for an arrangement of flowers, a couple of vases, a bridal bouquet and a buttonhole.
This was right up my street and I was so pleased to be asked and trusted with the flowers for this very small wedding!

For once I remembered to take a photo or two.
More to follow when I get a min but for the meantime this was popped in my own sitting room because it was just perfectly suited!
