Who says ice pops are just for humans? Our cheeky meerkats have been keeping cool today with a special enrichment treat – a mealworm and carrot ice pop! 🥕🪱

Packed with all their favourite flavours and plenty of investigative fun, these frozen treats encourage natural foraging behaviours while helping our little mob stay entertained and refreshed on warmer days.

Safe to say… the mealworms were definitely the star of the show! 😋

🧶 Today we’ve had the absolute privilege and pleasure of hosting the wonderful Lincolnshire Guild of Spinners here at Tattershall Farm Park.

We’ve shared plenty of giggles along the way while learning all about the ancient art of spinning and wool preparation – a fascinating craft that has been practised for centuries and is still just as magical today.

Some of our visitors were even lucky enough to have a go themselves, experiencing the skill and patience it takes to work a real-life spinning wheel! ✨

A huge thank you to all of the lovely ladies from the Guild for sharing their incredible knowledge, stories and enthusiasm with us. It has been a truly special day.

And of course, we’d also like to say a very special thank you to our own woolly superstars, who generously donated their fleeces for today’s demonstrations! 🐑🦙❤️

Our beautiful rare breed Lincoln Longwool, Kerry Hill, Ryeland, Manx Loaghtan and Hebridean sheep all played their part, alongside our wonderful alpacas, helping visitors see the journey from fleece to finished yarn.

Who knew turning fluffy fleece into beautiful yarn could be so mesmerising? 🧶🐑✨
