North Curry Community Coffee Shop We are a community facility that’s run entirely by volunteers. A great place for all to meet and visit! There's also plenty of friendship and fun.

North Curry village coffee shop is owned by the community and run wholly by volunteers. It has to date raised more than a quarter of a million pounds for charitable causes. As well as providing a great place to meet or visit, the coffee shop raises money for charities that have been nominated by the volunteers. The more than £250,000 raised so far represents the vision and commitment of everyone i

nvolved – as well as vast amounts of coffee, tea, homemade cakes, artwork, crafts and cards. To keep this successful venture going, more volunteers are needed to work behind the counter or do other jobs behind the scenes. Volunteers come from a wide area and work just two-hour shifts. Anyone interested in volunteering can ring the coffee shop on 01823 491414 during opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-4.30pm (4.00pm during December to February). Or, if you’re able, simply pop in the coffee shop and speak to a volunteer!

With so much genuine concern about the impact of overfishing and the focus on sustainable sourcing we have decided to remove mackerel salad from our summer specials. Don’t panic though, we’ve replaced it with a delicious chicken salad. Day 1 reports were very favourable!! Why not pop in and try this new special, which is on this week and every fourth week on the ‘specials rota’.
Good news as well for those who enjoyed Brie and cranberry toasties last week, they will be appearing regularly during the rest of the summer on ‘Brie weeks’.

🍰You are welcome to join the cutting of the cake celebration at 10.30 am (or at any time during the day) to mark the occasion and enjoy a cup of tea or instant coffee and cake.

NEW SUMMER MENU! With the warmer weather comes the seasonal change to our fayre ….

We are no longer serving soup but now offer a range of tasty new dishes:

Homemade quiche with salad and roll is available. Also on the menu is Somerset brie and grapes with salad and oat cakes. We also offer smoked mackerel with roll and salad. Just £6 per dish!

On Sundays we close at 4pm (last orders 3.45).

We open at 10am, Tuesday to Sunday (note: no opening on Mondays).

Good news! The Coffee Shop reopens on Tuesday 20th January, following redecoration. Our winter opening times are: Tues-Sat, 10am to 4pm (last orders 3.45); Sunday 10am to 3.30pm (last orders 3.15).
