We're here at the Cotford St Luke Farmer's market, enjoying the sunshine. We have loads of fresh veggie goodies, including some early specials: potatoes, pointy cabbage, green onions (amazing taste!), and the first first baby courgettes. Be there, or be, um, somewhere else. 😁

Hi Everybody -

Quick reminder that we’ll be selling lovely fresh clean veg at the next Cotford St Luke Farmer’s Market THIS Saturday 13th June 10 – 1 (St Luke’s Centre, Roger’s Walk, Cotford St Luke TA4 1HY – here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Rd1gK3qUGBjtGQH19) .

A couple of points:
We have a few regular box subscriptions left – if you want regular fresh, clean veg (and don’t want to have to remember to buy it ) make sure you let us know.
If you can’t get to the market just contact us and we’ll add you to the list.

The spring planting is coming through now – the weather has been weird but has helped things grow really fast.
New this market:
Peas (real ones, in pods, no chemicals),
Pointy cabbage (Big scrunchy ones)
Salad turnips (small and flavoursome)
And for a lucky few, the very first baby courgettes.
Go on, spoil yourself, in a very healthy way. :D

Coming very soon (we know because they’re growing now) –
Heirloom (and our regular) tomatoes
Cucumbers!!
Aubergines
Sweet peppers
More and bigger courgettes
Chinese cabbage

We’re also making the market a box drop venue; that may make it easier for some people to get their veg without a trek into Town (but we also deliver).

Whatever you do, eat healthy. Your future self will thank you.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Best wishes,
The Team

Hi everybody.
Many thanks to all of you who are getting in touch for fresh healthy veg. The team is going like mad keeping up with the huge growth happening in all our crops, despite the weird weather. Nature is amazing - we just try not to get in it's way. Just a quick couple of pics to share what's happening on the farm.....

Ground beetles keep pests off our crops. Lovely moon and sun scapes (in between the rain showers). A carrot who has delusions of grandeur.Tunnel crops are shooting up, so cucumbers, courgettes, tomatoes, aubergines, peppers and other goodies likely to be with you earlier than last year.

We'll be in touch soon to keep you informed - goodies will sell out fast when they're ready.
Best wishes from the Team.

Hello Everyone!

We’re back at the Cotford St Luke Farmers' Market this Saturday, 9th May 10 - 1. (St Luke's Church St Luke's Centre Cotford St Luke) – where we are every month.

Some of the early spring crops are already here, and we’ll have more our 'Magic Juice', the blend of fermented plants and worm juice we make and use that gives amazing results. Go on – give all your plants a massive growth headstart for the year!

(Un)Reliable food ?. Not a problem:
There’s a lot of uncertainty at the moment around the quality and even supply reliability of fresh food.

Without going into detail, we want you to know we’re here, local, we grow food that you get VERY fresh, we don’t use the additives many (most) food outlets use – ABSOLUTELY NO artificial fertilisers or composts (we make our own), herbicides, growth promoters, insecticides, harvest accelerating or ripeness delaying chemicals (yes, they are very real).

So we’re trying to give you as much food security as we can.
We’ve been working hard to establish growing conditions all through the year – we know we can produce good quality seasonal food all year round.

Don’t miss out:
We sell produce to whoever wants it, at the market and from the farm. But to reward customers who commit to us by registering for regular purchases (doesn’t matter what, and no charge for registering) we’ll return that commitment by doing two things:
One – we’ll prioritise our subscription customers, so you can be sure of always getting fresh healthy vegetables, and
Two – from 1st June until at least the end of the season (November) we will keep prices unchanged.
(Go on, ask your local supermarket to do that! 😊 )

All you need to do now is send us your contact details – we’ll be back in touch very soon to let you know what will be available and when.

If you are a food use business – restaurant, café, processor or shop/food seller – we are offering to grow produce for your needs. Get in touch and let us know what you want and when – we’d like to become a supplier.

So come to the market on Saturday – it’s a great little market (and the bacon rolls are fabulous), say ‘Hello’ and talk to us about what food you/your family/your business needs over this year – I’d be very surprised of we can’t help each other.

Best wishes,
Mark,Amanda and the Team.

Hi Everybody! Back again to remind you all that we'll be back at the Cotford St Luke Farmers' Market this Saturday, 11th April 10 - 1. (St Luke's Church St Luke's Centre Cotford St Luke).
It's an exciting time of year for fresh seasonal food - the winter greens and roots are giving way to the first of the new spring goodies.

Salad greens all through, as always; still some amazing cooking roots (try roasting red and white radish), still some salad potatoes (still delicious because they have never sniffed a chemical).
Small turnips, slow grown outside through the winter.
And the first of the new spring Baby Beets, carrots, and more.

It's been a hectic time getting the beds ready for mass planting of our new season's veg - this year we will have the widest variety of fresh veg we have ever grown.
Make sure you leave us your contact details and we'll let you know when our goodies are ready. (Hint: the warm weather has meant that we are ahead of our original crop plan ! )

SPECIAL THIS WEEK ONLY - we are selling some of our excess crop plants, and some of our 'Magic Juice', the blend of fermented plants and worm juice we make and use that gives amazing results.
Don't miss out - go on, spoil yourself.

If you can't make it, let us know and we'll contact you the following week - you don't have to miss out on fantastic fresh food just because you can't be there.

If you are a restaurant or other food business, let us know what we can provide you with through the year - food security is important for us all.

Come and say hello.

Best wishes,
Amanda, Mark and the Team

Hello Everybody –

A HUGE thanks to all our friends who came to see us at the last Cotford St Luke’s Farmers’ and Craft Market. It was our best yet!! We even had to shoot back to the farm mid-morning to get more goodies after running out of a couple of things.

We look forward to seeing you at the next gathering – THIS Saturday March 14th, 10 – 1 (St Luke’s Centre, Roger’s Walk, Cotford St Luke TA4 1HY).
We have been growing fresh veggies all winter – come and veg out.

If you buy veg regularly, we have TWO IMPORTANT things going on:
Our year’s growing plan is nearly complete, so
1. We are taking orders for regular Veg Boxes, for homes or businesses.
2. If you are concerned about the security of your veg supply, and you supply or cook Real Food – come and talk to us. We are finalizing our season’s planting schedule, even into next winter, and we are looking to offer customers the chance to forward order veg, ie we will grow to order for you.
Whatever your interest, come and say hello.

Best Spring Wishes,
The Team at Peak Farm

Hi Everybody -
Apologies for not getting in touch sooner but we are now getting ourselves organised for the upcoming Spring season.

Whilst we have been quiet, we have still been busy and have a selection of veg currently in season. We will be at the Cotford market again next Saturday (14th Feb) but we are also happy to deliver locally if you would rather place an order with us directly rather than buy at the market.

We are still developing our web page and our online ordering tool so, in the meantime, please contact us if you want to place an order over the coming weeks or set up a regular veg box delivery. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

We don't just sell set boxes - you can order any combinations of veg we have. If you stay signed up to our newsletter we'll tell you a week ahead what's available.

Customers find a box subscription really useful as they don't have to remember to order/buy/carry fresh veg - it's there when you need it.

We do have a page where you can also see what we have been doing and get in touch with us.

A Big Thanks to everyone who visited us at the Cotford St Luke Farmers' Market last Saturday - everybody had a great time (and some great food !).
We have proof that this was where Santa officially buys his Christmas Veg, and the lovely Millie really likes fresh radish.
