Beautiful local spring onions and mixed salad bags, picked by Sam last night and delivered fresh this morning. From field to shelf in no time at all!

Tonight’s quick and easy meal 🍝

Fresh tagliatelle (De La Torres), chestnut mushrooms, shallots, smoked bacon (from the butchers), a splash of cream and plenty of Grana Padano. Proof that you don’t need a long ingredient list for a proper comforting meal.

It might not be the prettiest plate of pasta, but it was absolutely tagliatelle-made for a cosy evening and tasted far better than it looked!

No rest for the beet as we get the shelves stocked and the shop looking pear-fect for our 7am opening today.

Thankfully, there’s a strong coffee by my side to stop me going bananas before breakfast! 🍌☕️
