11 years of owning Pepper šŸ©·šŸ‘

The day that changed everything on the croft with the arrival of Salt and Pepper the pet lambs, the day Ellie took ownership of two wee hooligans! Little did we know then that we would be keeping 100 sheep 11 years on!

Salt sadly died a few years ago but Pepper is still going strong, retired and being granny to the Ryeland hoggsā€¦.much to her disappointment!!! And we have her daughters and granddaughters in our team!

I think it will be extra food today for pepper pot! šŸ‘šŸ‘

This year we are using Life-Gard for the first time, every Ryeland lamb born we have given them a shot and itā€™s definitely made a difference! Elsieā€™s wee twin lamb wouldnā€™t stand when she was born but stood straight away after getting her paste she liked it that much she wanted more! Photo of Elsieā€™s wee lamb and Edithā€™s tup lamb who arrived this afternoon. Will be using this on the Cheviots this year too
