Thank you to everyone that joined us for the Charity Pub Quiz at The Lion Pub Inn Priorslee on Tuesday, we raised a whopping £246 on the night for Love From George and made it up to £345 with the kind donation from the Music Quiz Winning Team!

The next Charity Pub Quiz will be on Tuesday 7th July, 7.30pm for an 8pm start.

Saying goodbye to our lovely Meg today as she works her last shift after 15 years of service.

We have seen a significant rise in the level of school children being caught stealing from the store. We are actively working with Pastoral support from the schools to identify these individuals in order to notify the parents who can hopefully address the behaviour. We ask any parent who is contacted to bring their child to the store where they can pay for the goods they have stolen, to try and avoid involving the police. Often this is all that is needed to shock the child into realising the consequences of their actions. Quite often the biggest shock is to the parent who never would have believed their child would do such a thing.
Smaller crimes often lead to big ones and can significantly impact the individual and the community in which they live. Shoplifting in any form is unacceptable and brings a burden to both the business, the colleagues and other customers. As always we welcome the support of our local community.

Come and join us for a spot of Fundraising Bingo to raise funds for the ‘Knit & Natter’ groups Wool!

Tuesday 2nd June from 7.30pm onwards 😀👍

Yvonne Wood, runs the bi-weekly Group at The Lion Pub Inn Priorslee.

Whilst visiting the group to talk about scheduling an information session, we discussed the projects they are doing supporting the Princess Royal Hospital and the dwindling wool…. You can help by dropping off any spare wool to the pub or join us for a fun evening to help raise funds.
