On this day in 1876 the Rowton meteorite landed in the village ☄️ It is the only iron meteorite known to have fallen in England.

To mark the 150th anniversary we attended an event to unveil an information board at the site where it was discovered ☄️

What a fantastic day which was well supported by our local community 🍻

Please join us today and raise a pint of our Meteorite beer or our 1876 ESB which was specially brewed to celebrate 🍺

This coming Sunday we will be celebrating the milestone of 7 years of Rowton Brewery at The Old Fighting C***s 🍻

We have a whole weekend of festivities including a pop up real ale and cider bar aswell as live music and pizza 🍺
