Another two full bodies of 100% Organic Longhorn beef have just arrived at Boultons Butchers and are now hanging in our cold room ready to be expertly prepared.

This is the real thing — heritage Longhorn cattle, organically raised and slowly grown on grass, producing beef that is beautifully marbled, deeply flavoured and incredibly tender.

Because we buy the whole carcass, every cut is available — from the show-stopping steaks right through to the traditional cuts and all the offal.

We’re looking for an experienced, confident and energetic Counter Assistant to join our busy team at Boultons Butchers in Madeley.

The role involves working across both our butchery and deli counters, serving customers, preparing food, replenishing displays and carrying out general cleaning duties.

🔴 EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS ONLY

Applicants must have:

✅ Recent, proven experience working within a food establishment
✅ A current Food Hygiene Certificate
✅ Confidence and plenty of character and personality
✅ The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
✅ Plenty of energy, vigour and a hands-on attitude
✅ Excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service
✅ Reliability and the ability to work well as part of a team

⚠️ Please do not apply if you do not have relevant, recent experience working within a food establishment. This is not an entry-level position.

Boulton’s Butchers in Madeley is looking for a friendly, hardworking and very reliable person to join our award-winning team.

⚠️ Please only apply if you can commit to working every Saturday.
There may also be occasional Friday shifts available when required.

The role includes serving customers, handling payments, replenishing displays, keeping the shop clean and supporting our team during busy periods.

Retail or food-service experience would be helpful but isn’t essential, as full training will be provided.

We’re looking for someone who is:

✔ Friendly and confident with customers
✔ Hardworking and willing to learn
✔ Well presented and professional
✔ Happy working as part of a busy team

🔪 SKILLED FULL-CARCASS BUTCHER WANTED 🔪

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the team at Boulton’s Artisan Butchery in Telford, proud members of the Q Guild of Butchers.

We work exclusively with full carcass meat, including beef, lamb, pork, venison and goat. We’re looking for a genuinely experienced butcher who can break down complete carcasses and produce every cut with precision, confidence and exceptional presentation.

Full beef-carcass experience is essential. This is not a boxed-meat-only position.

You must have excellent knife skills, work efficiently in a busy retail environment, use your own initiative and take real pride in traditional craft butchery.

🔪 Full-time or part-time
🔪 Working Tuesday–Saturday
🔪 Saturday availability essential
🔪 Competitive pay according to experience
🔪 Practical block test required to assess skills
