An evening to remember at The Swan.

Last night, we welcomed Ethan Pack of Three Sheets Soho to our winery estate in Tenterden for the latest Taste of England Chef Series.

Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated menu celebrating exceptional British produce, with each course paired with a Chapel Down sparkling wine, creating an evening that celebrated the very best of British food and English wine.

A huge thank you to Ethan and his team for an unforgettable evening, and to everyone who joined us to make it such a great night.

Vineyard update 🍇

It's an exciting time of year in the vineyard.

Our vines have now entered lag phase – the final stage before veraison, when the grapes begin to change colour and enter the final stage of their development.

While nature does its work, our vineyard team is busy trimming the vines, managing the canopy and carefully monitoring the fruit as preparations for harvest continue.

We'll continue to share updates from the vineyard as the season unfolds.

TASTE OF ENGLAND CHEF SERIES: ETHAN PACK AT THE SWAN 👨‍🍳🥂

For one evening only, Ethan Pack of Three Sheets Soho takes over the kitchen at The Swan at Chapel Down, the winery’s two AA Rosette restaurant.

One of three winners of Chapel Down’s nationwide Taste of England campaign, created to identify and champion the next generation of culinary talent, Ethan will present a specially created three-course menu showcasing exceptional produce from across the British Isles, each course paired with a Chapel Down sparkling wine.

The menu includes sweetcorn sautéed in bone marrow with fresh lovage and Doddington cheese, pork fillet with sauerkraut and oyster cream, and goat curd burnt cheesecake with Kentish strawberry syrup and orange blossom.

A double celebration for Chapel Down!

We're delighted to have been named Best Large Cellar Door at the inaugural WineGB Cellar Door Awards, with our Grand Reserve 2019 vintage also taking home both the Classic Cuvée Trophy and Best Sustainable WineGB Wine.

Every year, we welcome thousands of visitors to our brand home in Tenterden to discover our vineyards, explore our winery and experience the people, place and craftsmanship behind every bottle. To receive this award means so much to our team.
