Two bumper days of nature spotting with Richard Baines Highlights included the huge Privet Hawk Moth, Pine Hawk Moth (a first here), rare arable plants - Corn Buttercup, Field Woundwort, Weasel’s Snout, a colony of Purple Hairstreak butterflies, Emerald Dragonfly and lots of Yellowhammers……and birthdays celebrated with cake! All demonstrating the huge diversity that can be achieved on a lowland mixed farm with a bit of passion and commitment. Thank you to all those who joined us for each event, your interest, enthusiasm and support make it all worthwhile. Loved all the questions!
