Last Friday, we had the honor of hosting Sir Ed Davey, Leader of the Liberal Democrats, along with some truly inspiring young carers from Gloucestershire. They chose our farm as the perfect festive backdrop to film promotional material for a fantastic cause—raising awareness and funds for young carers through their charity single, "Love is Enough". Our very own Jonny Brown and George Gallagher (son and grandson of our farm owner Jeff Brown) got stuck in, helping sell, net, and spread Christmas cheer—proving we’ll even help politicians get their Christmas sorted… despite the fact they’re not exactly winning Farmer of the Year awards lately! 😉
On a serious note, it was a privilege to support the incredible work of these young carers and the Carers Trust. Their resilience, empathy, and dedication are a reminder of what the season is really about—community, kindness, and looking out for each other.
