It’s lovely to harvest big orders for my loyal (and lovely) customers 🤍

Most of the lilac has gone over now but there’s just enough for Sally’s shoot this week :)

Kicking off this week’s flower arranging tips in collaboration with and 🌷

I’m keeping things simple and elegant, featuring the beautiful Halliesphere paired with a very special bone china jug by Duchess China. Together, they showcase British-grown “Sissi” tulips at their finest.

This is all about showing how easy it can be to create stunning arrangements at home—using vessels you may already have tucked away, along with thoughtfully crafted British floral aids to help you achieve that effortless “florist” finish.

FEBRUARY on the flower farm is a bit of a funny one.
It’s quiet, a little muddy, and mostly about waiting.

The beds are resting, the soil is cold, and there aren’t many flowers to show yet — but that doesn’t mean nothing’s happening. If you slow down and really look, you’ll spot tiny shoots poking through and buds getting themselves ready, even if they’re not in a rush about it.

This month gives us time to breathe. To tidy, to plan, to daydream about what’s coming, and to remind ourselves that growth doesn’t always look busy or impressive. Some of the most important work is happening out of sight.

Spring will arrive when it’s ready. Until then, we’re embracing the stillness and the wellies-by-the-door kind of days and of course staring at the snowdrops for way too long 😂

Today I made a Christmas swag for my dad’s resting place — not too celebratory, just quiet and respectful. I kept it masculine in design, with deep greenery and a rich purple velvet ribbon, so it felt like remembrance rather than festivity. A gentle way to honour him at Christmas, and to show he’s still very much at the heart of our family. Forever missed, forever loved.

You can imagine I was somewhat emotional making this for him and my family x

I’m having such a lovely festive week making up all your orders and thankfully the mothership is here helping me this week and it’s been really nice having some quality time together too.

On a not so great note I’ve completely forgotten to buy the children an advent calendar I’m not sure how long it’s going to take for them to forgive me 😱

On a really not great note. I’ve had an issue with my postal boxes and they haven’t arrived and the company I ordered them from have been so disappointing so today I’m driving up to Warsall to pick some other boxes up and hopefully I’ll be in time to make the post today. If not it will be first thing tomorrow and I will send off the first batch of orders and I can’t wait for you to receive them.

How great is this red swag ? I’m really impressed how many red orders I received this year.

Who else loves traditional red ?
