Lily of the valley has to be my favourite flower- those delicate white bell flowers with vivid green stems, and the scent!!! I’m lucky to have it growing in my garden, so when I needed to create some sugar versions for this cake I could look at the real thing rather than photos!

This stunner was decorated with fresh roses and Phalenopsis orchids and set up in Oldwalls.

I added the cascade to the cake (I’m a complete control freak when it comes to putting fresh flowers into cakes), and Rachel from created the stunning arrangement around the base of the cake. The cake looked so beautiful, as if it was floating on a cloud of flowers.
