Open daily 9am–4:30pm, meet rare breed animals, visit the 18th-century watermill, or play indoors at the 'Playbarn'. You probably know us as a lovely place for children to see the animals, run around in beautiful countryside and let off steam in our state-of-the-art playbarn – but there’s a lot more to Sacrewell. ke a tour and find out how your great-grandparents got their daily bread. Foodies can also join a tractor trip around the fields of our tenant farmers Riverford Organic Farms (it’s on our land). Then there’s our wildlife trail and two rambles – if you’re lucky, you’ll see the rare red kites and brown hares. Events are a regular occurrence at Sacrewell - keep an eye on our website for more details.
2024 will welcome our 60th year as a charity dedicated to agricultural education, we continue to welcome students of all ages who want to learn traditional skills and get an insight into rural life. We hope that all our visitors not only have a great day out but feel they’ve learned something too.

☀️ Wow, what a summer! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Sacrewell over the summer holidays. It’s been so lovely to see so many familiar faces returning to the farm, as well as welcoming lots of new ones too. We hope you made some wonderful summer memories with us!

Now the big kids are heading back to school, we’re back to our off-peak weekday prices, making it a lovely time to enjoy a quieter day out with your pre-schooler. 🌿🐷

☕ We’re hiring! Café General Assistant

We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Café General Assistant to join the team at The Farmhouse Table here at Sacrewell.

This is a part-time role working weekends and school holidays, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a busy, welcoming team.

You’ll be helping us serve food and drinks, look after our customers and keep the café running smoothly.

🌧️ Don’t let the rain put you off, there’s still plenty of fun to be had at Sacrewell today!

Grab your wellies and come and say hello to our friendly farm animals, before heading indoors to meet some fascinating exotic creatures with the Animals UK team. 🦎🐍

You can also get creative with crafts in the Stone Barn and burn off some energy in our indoor Playbarn.

Animals UK is included with standard day admission, Summer Passes and Annual Passes, so there’s no extra cost to join in.

🌱 Looking for something to do with your little one this September?

Sacrewell Seedlings is our weekly preschool session for little explorers aged 2-4, combining play, nature and hands-on learning here on the farm 💚

Each week brings something different, with activities inspired by the farm, animals, seasons and the natural world. From nature play and crafts to sensory activities and outdoor adventures, little ones can explore, learn and have fun at their own pace 🐝🌿

Join us this October half term for plenty of spooky fun around the farm!
