Nith Valley Eggs We are a woodland farm near Thornhill, Dumfries and Galloway that bring free range eggs, to you.

Since starting in 2008, Stuart Rutherford, owner of Nith Valley Eggs has gone from strength to strength. As a runner up in the Best Small Business Awards from the Princes Trust in 2010, Stuart has continued to grow the business with his woodland farm now home to 13,000 free range hens. His eggs have been voted among the top 5 for quality in Scotland and he now wants to bring this quality to more c

ustomers in Dumfries. We are always looking for new ways to get our eggs straight from the farm to the consumer and we are really excited to have our new innovative egg vending machines. Our eggs will be sold on trays of 15 eggs, in a sense we are taking our farm gate to the public. All eggs will be produced in our unique woodland site near Thornhill so the consumer can be assured the eggs they are buying are local and as fresh as possible.

It’s the end of an era! Gerry has been such a big part of NVE over the past 4 years—bringing plenty of laughs along the way. We’re so grateful for everything he’s done and all the memories we’ve shared.

You’ll be missed, Gerry. Wishing you all the very best for what’s next 💛
