The perfect pair: Pilot Rum and Café au Bulldog

Put a twist on a classic old fashioned by swapping the bourbon for Pilot Rum and sweetening with Café au Bulldog.

Pilot Coffee Old Fashioned:
60 ml North Point Pilot Rum
30 ml Café au Bulldog
3-4 dashes of orange bitters
Orange peel for garnish

Mix in a glass with ice.
Stir extremely well.
Garnish and enjoy

It’s official, we have a record entry for the North Point Distillery Safari Open!

For our third consecutive year, we confident our Open has the biggest potential prize pool in the North.

Over £10,000 of potential prizes to be won across tomorrow’s play!

With closest to the pin on 5, 15 & 18. A cask of Dalclagie Single Malt Whisky for a hole-in-one at the 18th and North Point / Dalclagie merch galore for our successful teams… it is shaping up to be a cracking Saturday of golf.

Our team will be on the course capturing content (good shots, bad shots and everything in between). But don’t worry… the Distillery shop remains open for all your North Point spirits needs.

A Spiced Negroni to kick the weekend off right 🪩

What’s the recipe?
Equal parts North Point Spiced Rum, sweet vermouth, and Campari.

It’s World Whisky Day and what better way to celebrate than with a cocktail! 🥃

While we wait for our whisky to mature, we’ve been experimenting with cocktails featuring our new make spirit.

Peated New Make Sour
30 ml Peated New Make Spirit (infused with 1 bay leaf +
small scrape of vanilla seeds)
30 ml amaretto
15 ml lemon juice
30 ml peach syrup
1 Egg white

Combine, shake with ice, and double strain into a coupe glass; garnish with a charred bay leaf.

Which one are you making?

Basil & Szechuan Mojito:
60ml North Point Pilot Rum
5-6 basil leaves
4 szechuan peppercorns
barspoon of sugar
garnish basil

Campfire Old Fashioned:
60ml North Point Pilot Rum
2 -3 dash bitters
15 ml simple syrup
garnish toasted marshmallows

Spiced Rum Dalgona Coffee:
30ml North Point Spiced Rum
15ml of instant coffee
15ml castersugar
chai tea
whole oat milk
coffee beans to garnish

Pear and Plum Gin Still:
60 ml Crosskirk Bay Gin
45 ml pear and plum still water
30 ml pear tea
15 ml grapefruit juice
garnish with a slice of pear

Spiced Negroni:
30 ml North Point Spiced Rum
30 ml Campari
30 ml Sweet Vermouth

Bergamot Seaweed Sour:
45 ml Crosskirk Bay Gin
15 ml Italicus
1 egg white
15 ml lemon juice
15 ml seaweed simple syrup
Nori garnish
