Wolfburn Whisky Wolfburn is a multi-award-winning Single Malt Scotch Wh**ky distillery on the north coast of mainland Scotland.

Wolfburn Distillery is located in Thurso, in the very north of Scotland. It is one of the most northerly wh**ky distilleries on the Scottish mainland. Established in 2013, it is a relatively young distillery that has quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality multi-award-winning single malt Scotch whiskies. The distillery takes its name from the original Wolfburn Distillery, which was

founded in 1821 but ceased operations in the 1850s. Wolfburn's Wh**ky is known for their smooth, clean, and well-balanced flavors, and the distillery offers tours for visitors to learn about the wh**ky-making process.

What Would Thor Drink?
Thurso, Caithness. The far north. A place where Vikings once sailed in looking for adventure, where the town's name comes from "Thorsa" (Old Norse for Thor's River), and where we make an award-winning 58% single malt called Langskip.

Langskip means "longship" in Old Norse. That's not accidental.
Here's what most people get wrong about 58% ABV: they assume it means harsh. It doesn't. When it's made right, with first-fill bourbon casks and proper craft, 58% means flavour. It means sweetness. It means depth.

Saturday at the Mey Games was a good one. Familiar faces, plenty of new ones, and no shortage of drams poured at the Wolfburn stand. Thank you for being part of it.

If you missed this year's release, the 10-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Wh**ky was dressed in Sinclair tartan; there are a small number of bottles left in 70cl and 35cl. Once they're gone, that's it until next year's Mey Highland Games.

The Mey Highland Games 2026 are back, and so is . Saturday 1st August, John O'Groats showground, rain or shine (it's Caithness, so plan for both).

This year's release comes in two sizes: 70cl for the shelf, 35cl. A 10-year-old wh**ky good enough you won't want to share it. The label wears the Sinclair tartan, a family that's held the Earldom of Caithness since the 15th century. Their motto was "Commit thy work to God", isn't a bad description of what it takes to lay down a wh**ky for ten years and wait. 🥃

£59.99 or £29.99, on hand all day at the Games. Whatever's left goes online Monday.

It's noon. Sowilo is live.
Kylver Edition 16 exists because our longest-standing collectors kept asking for a peated Kylver. The answer was already sleeping in Thurso: three casks from our earliest days of production, left to mature in the sea air for over a decade.
What came out was worth the wait. Gentle peat smoke, honeyed malt, and a long maritime finish — smoke that works with the sweetness, not against it. Bottled at 52% vol, non-chill filtered, no artificial colour.

Every bottle of Sowilo - Kylver Edition 16 is being labelled by hand today, one at a time, on a wooden jig in our bottling hall. All 730 of them. It's slow work, but so was the wh**ky: three casks, filled in our earliest days and left to mature quietly in Thurso.
Gently peated. 52% vol. Individually numbered.
On sale tomorrow, Thursday 9th July, 12 noon UK time — only at wolfburn.com. First come, first served.
