❤️ WARM WELCOMES & ANOTHER FOOD FILLED WEEKEND AHEAD OF US! ❤️
First things first, a huge thank you to everyone who came along to welcome Hannah from House of Bread to The Hidden Lane last weekend. 🥰
Hannah had an absolute blast meeting and chatting with you all, sharing her love of sourdough baking and seeing just how much enthusiasm there is for what she does. We’re delighted to say that she was thrilled with the warm welcome and support she received, and she’ll be returning to us again soon! 🍞❤️
It really does mean so much when you show up for our small, independent producers, as well as supporting LRM Trading and Nature’s Path Natural Ways. Every visit, purchase and friendly chat helps keep this little collection of local businesses going, and we’re so grateful to everyone who continues to support us. 🌿
And now… onto this weekend, because we have a FULL HOUSE of guest producers this Saturday! 🎉
We have two familiar faces returning and two new producers joining us for their very first visit to Thehiddenlanethurso. There’s going to be plenty to discover!
🐐 Under the canopy, we have our resident guest producer Jussi Stader from Jumping Goats Dairy, bringing along her lovely goat cheeses and other goodies.
🥩 Joining Jussi for his first visit with us is Alan from Clyth Charcuterie. Alan produces handmade charcuterie, including salamis, air-dried and smoked meats, and sausages using animals raised on their own Caithness holding. We’re really looking forward to welcoming Alan and introducing you to another local producer!
🍴 Inside, we have Karen & John from Whaligoe Catering, bringing their much-loved food and flavours back to The Hidden Lane. If you’ve visited them before, you’ll know there’s always something worth looking forward to!
🎨 And joining Karen & John for her first visit with us is Fiona from Lighthouse Crafts!
Inspired by the ever-changing blues of our north coast seas and the beautiful surrounding landscapes, Fiona creates unique glassware and home décor, including gorgeous vases, candle holders and glasses in swirling coastal colours. 💙🌊
Each piece captures a little of that shifting light and movement of the water, bringing a touch of the coast into your home. We’re delighted to welcome Fiona and can’t wait for you to come along, meet her and see her beautiful creations for yourselves!
Of course, it’s not just about Saturday! 😉
