Pure Alpacas Pure Alpacas is an alpaca farm breeding both huacaya and suri with an emphasis on matching alpacas to your needs!

We offer alpacas for sale from pets and poultry/flock guards to pregnant females and prize-winners. Stud services are available from a range of world-class bloodlines in a variety of colours. We run regular courses on various topics, including husbandry, shearing, stud selection, fibre and halter-training. Advice is always available and visitors are more than welcome by appointment.

Learn to shear your alpacas!

Finally we’re in a position to relaunch our popular shearing courses at our farm in Mid Devon just 20 minutes from the M5.

These are designed to give you the skills and confidence to shear your own alpacas with practical experience throughout the course.

Full notes are provided with details of suppliers for your equipment.

This year we are offering these one day courses on the 10th and 11th April and have had some spaces become unexpected available.

Cost would be £300 (inc VAT) per person to include the course, use of our equipment and resources plus refreshments.
