Tarka Springs Tarka Springs - bottled at source from natural springs situated in the heart of the Tarka Devon countryside.

Tarka Springs was started 14 years ago in 2001 when Neil Folland (Managing Director) decided to diversify the farm due to a Rugby injury which meant he was unable to be as hands on at the family farm. The water quality was tested and Neil discovered that the spring on the farm was fantastic quality and full of natural vitamins. After receiving a grant from MAFF (The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisher

ies and Food) work soon started on converting the old milking parlour into a modern factory. With the help of a manual bottler, capper, labeller and shrink-wrapped, Tarka Springs started producing their first bottles of Artesian Spring Water. Anna Moseby, Neil’s sister, joined the team in June 2001 to take care of the sales and Marketing of the Business. With new clients being added to the Tarka portfolio year upon year the family run team were then able to buy automated bottlers and to design and build a custom built factory. In the following years, Tarka Springs have continued to grow, invest and employ more local people to the team. Having purchased more advanced pieces of equipment they are now running efficiently and producing between 500,000 and 600,000 bottles per month.
