Farmer Dave’s game of Dead or Alive? What a year so far!
This is a 2yr old silage ley that had rye grass, clover & plantain. Looks pretty dead & thin.
1 or 2 shoots of plaintain & rye grass.
So the recovery plan for this field is to over seed with additional white clover rye grassing our new bit of kit (video to follow)!

Such an amazing cheesy evening! Thank you to everyone that came, it was brilliant spending an evening talking cheese & w**e with the absolutely fabulous Cheese Queens. We tried 6 different cheeses including Sharpham Cheese, , Curworthy Cheese, , , Somerset Cheese Company & w**e from Majestic W**e all available at with the incredible butter from the

Receiving this photo really made my afternoon along with her parents' comment too.

Over 300 books have been hidden so far this year which is amazing. However, I have only heard from 5 families.

Sharing that you have found one doesn't necessarily mean a full photo of your child with the book. Maybe the place you found it, the front cover of the book or just a message to share the reaction of your children when they found the book.

It would really mean alot to us to hear more from the families finding the books and it definitely helps keep our energy up whilst book hiding in this sweltering heat 🥵
